We’re delighted to say that Horsham District Year of Culture 2019 awarded a grant to three of the District’s Arts & Culture festivals – Horsham Festival, Shipley Arts Festival, and Steyning Festival.
This grant was awarded to help the development of these ambitious and worthwhile festivals, enabling them to support Horsham District’s creative community and deliver quality exhibitions, performances, screenings, talks and more to audiences, year after year.
So, this year, as well as pulling together Horsham Festival 2019, we are revisiting our aims and ambitions and undertaking a period of research and development to deliver a strategy that aims to ensure that Horsham Festival plays a significant role in the Horsham District Year of Culture’s legacy.
Artistic Director and Chairman of Horsham Festival, Andrew Bernardi, says: “We bring together the communities of Horsham District and are very grateful to the Horsham District Year of Culture 2019 for supporting our vision for the arts to be celebrated from every corner of our District. I cannot wait for the 2020 and onward legacy of Horsham, Shipley and Steyning Festivals, and thank you to all our partners, sponsors, and communities for such a great contribution.”
